On the other hand, an employee will feel motivated and provide their best at work. It strengthens and improves productivity and loyalty. Work balance, in the long run, creates a rapport between the employer and the employees.Employers who continually tie employees to their jobs make them have stress and burnout. People who are overworked will likely face health problems, be absent at work and have reduced productivity. Work balance increases self-esteem and gives the employees an opportunity to control their working life. Besides, it makes employees more responsive.Reasons that justify treating employees fairly.Employees should be treated fairly to become motivated and more productive. There are also legal requirements that set the minimum wage that can be paid to an employee. Ethics refers to the prescribed code of behavior that a business has to operate. National laws for different countries have set minimum standards for workers and the amount of time that they should take at work. These legislations affect work life balance since a company can only do what the law requires of them.The human resource department has the mandate of ensuring that employees are healthy and satisfied with work. The department can do that by putting organizational expectations and policies which guarantee proper treatment of workers. The workplace can help employees by promoting the culture of working smart and not working long. Staff members should be allowed to attend support services during working hours. In companies, there are activities that promote good health and those that do not.
